Along with being powered by 100% renewable electricity, 530 Collins Street is also highly energy efficient. Managing the electricity loads within the building is a demand response program. Further optimising energy efficiencies are an upgraded air conditioning system and new LED lighting throughout. Another key sustainability initiative is a rooftop low carbon cogeneration plant.
